Re: The Random Thoughts Topic

I just randomly decided to visit this website after a few years away, and one of the active topics is this one: which was started by me EIGHT YEARS AGO. Wow, time really flies fast!

Re: The Music of DKC3 GBA - NEW STUDIO-MASTERED TRACKS FOUND!

Oh really? Those DKU japesters! This is why I generally don't use their journalism as a source of information. Haha. Well, without their journalism these finds never would've been leaked; this was all due entirely to one of my DKU colleague's personal interaction with said former employee after mak...

Re: The Music of DKC3 GBA - NEW STUDIO-MASTERED TRACKS FOUND!

Actually, Tim Stamper didn't really leak those. It's another former Rare employee whom would rather have the DKU keep their identity secret, so they jokingly refer to the guy as Tim Stamper himself. He's been leaking a stream of interesting info about the gba development for a while now.

Re: What would like to see if Retro made a sequel

Yeah, I love Paon's new characters as well. I just felt that all of their old ones were a bit... off I guess. Tiny, Cranky, K. Rool, etc. Also, I don't like how everything they used tended to be some reused design, if you know what I mean. Like, I'd prefer them to make new Kremlings and enemies, ins...

Re: What would like to see if Retro made a sequel

I don't want to say that they intentionally and with malicious intent lied to there fans in an effort to purposefully screw them over. That's clearly not the case. However, the way they hyped it was misleading, and regardless of intentions, they screwed us over. As for how they actually mislead us, ...

Re: What would like to see if Retro made a sequel

Actually Tiptup, I'd personally say Nuts & Bolts' situation was much worse than DKCR's. In Nuts and Bolts' case, Rare flat out called in Banjo Kazooie 3 for ages, and even released a trailer showcasing only the showdown town segments of platforming without vehicles, before letting everybody down...

Re: What would like to see if Retro made a sequel

DKCR was never intended to be DKC4, and if a real DKC4 ever did come out, I doubt it could live up to the hype. If you don't like DKCR, imagine how much worse it would've been if they'd named it DKC4.

By the way, I still like DKCR.

Re: What's better AMD or Intel processors

From my experience, AMD processors are more affordable, but Intel processors are of higher quality. AMD processors tend to have more problems, while Intel are just really well made and issue-free. Re: Could the DKC3 Bosses be Experiments?

Well, Kaos of course is one of his creations, and it definitely doesn't seem out of the question to assume he built Belcha (because Belcha does seem to be a creation and not a natural animal obviously). I think the Wii version is better. The crest system is the same between both games, it's only cosmetically changed. In the Gamecube version you get bronze, silver, gold, and platinum, but in the Wii version you get 1 crest, 2 crests, 3 crests, or 4 crests. It works the same exact way. What I like ab...

Re: What's The True Realtionship Between Cranky And DK?

Tiptup, the article you list doesn't necessarily prove one way or another. He's also called Diddy's grandfather as well, so that doesn't really prove a...
