Yea that does suck. Used to play their older games such as Tie Fighter. Good game.

Last Monkey Island was made by TellTale Games, but i don't know who will keep the copyrights.

Looking forward to play Ron Gilbert's The Cave though, i've heard a lot of good about it!

Awe... that is sad... I do love their Point N Click games! I grew up watching my mum, older brother, and older sister playing the Monkey Island games, Sam and Max Hit the Road, and Day of the Tentacle.
