How come the map warp isn't working for me? I press 'b' right when your character hits the turn in the path from Jungle Hijinx, and Ropey Rampage, but it doesn't warp me. I'm using 1 character, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Am I sopposed to press 'b' at another spot besides the angle, or am I doing it in the right place, and I'm just not doing it at quite the right time? Screenshots are welcome. By the way, I'm playing this on the VC, is it possible that Nintendo took the map warps out?

The warps only work on version 1.0, Virtual Console is version 1.2 so it won't work on the VC.

It's still quite difficult to do, even IF it did work.

Aw man . I wanted to try it out do speed runs, oh well, I can do them without the warp.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there some kinda warp between Coral Capers and Funky's Flights?

Yes, and there are 2 between Cranky's Cabin, and Reptile Rumble.

Unless I'm mistaken, all of the 'turns' or whatever they're called, (the points where you change your direction but don't go to a level) have a warp in them.

It's kind of lame how fixed that glitch at version 1.2 instead of 1.1. I also think that If you touch a necky in version 1.2, you will get hurt.
