Hello guys
Happy New Year to all who follow our game :swanky:
Cheers everyone and thanks for all the support
The team DKC4 want everything good for everyone
Today I bring you another update of the engine.
This time I worked in collision with enemies, was very complicated,
but did everything to look like the original, and of course a touch DKC4 to innovate the game.

Hey everyone! I have't been here in a while, but I've been watching the videos on Youtube as they're put up! You're doing wonderful work and I continue to be impressed. I can't wait to see more of DKC4 in the new year!

Blue DD: Diddy Kong
Pink DX: Dixie Kong

For the playlist, they're there in case you want them, I'd say just download them with youtube-mp3.org and chop them into individual sound clips with Goldwave or Audacity. I'll edit this post later on and add the tracks I made as well.

EDIT: My own works added, disregard the file name because sometimes it'll occur to me that a song fits better on some other level than i had originally intended it to go on, just go by the [NAME]: [LINK] thing. Sorry if there's any duplicates under different names in there, I just dumped the list from mediafire, and I haven't had time to check them all.

Lots of editing and some rips from 3D games with similar styles to DKC, such as Sonic 3D Blast and Crash Bandicoot.

My father became ill, and had to run to the hospital

I was wondering if anybody knew what game those red girders were from. I'm assuming they weren't made by anybody and are from another game. I've been looking and I can't find it.

Donkey Kong Country 4 (in SNES-related fashion) is something I've wanted for so ridiculously long! It's finally coming to fruition, and I am beyond excited for the finished product!

DKC4 is back with new features
I apologize for the delay because I had a great loss which was hard to overcome.
And the project continues ....
With the help of the engine was redesigned Necrotoad
Is lighter and the closest physically to the SNES DKC
I tried to make the engine Team Up as similar as possible.
There were many setbacks, because this engine was the most difficult to edit.
Very complex and extensive. fortunately managed to finish ^ ^
I want to thank everyone who waited anxiously for the update.

You guys have done an amazing job to make all of this work; just about every interaction looks as though it was engineered by Rare themselves. :D

There are still a few things that don't look quite right (I'm not sure about Diddy's 'carrying a heavy Kong' animation, although it's a good attempt based on what's already available), but an overwhelming majority of what you've shown here is very impressive indeed. :geek:

I'm particularly impressed with the custom graphics for DK — his 'carrying a partner' and 'horizontal rope traversal' animations, for example, and I love the way he performs an attack when lobbed by another Kong — so congratulations to Phyreburnz for some truly excellent edits, and to the rest of you for putting it all together in such a cohesive way.

Also, Qyz, I'll have to revisit the Diddy animation. I may have some ideas on how to make it better.

Diddy looks kind of weird when he's on Kiddy's shoulders. That looks like his ducking animation when he's on the skull cart in DKC2.

This is very short but I think you'll like.
Was made and designed by Necrotoad and LeoCore the old engine.
I just took a Polished, the Sprites are the Phyreburnz.

Diddy and Dixie are very accurate to the source material, hiperkalango! DK and Kiddy also fit right in, though they take time to get going. Thank you for the update, and I hope to see you again!

Haha, those are funny. DK looks a bit stiff. Maybe just using his dance from the DKC intro with the boom box would be good for him?

Clever idea tomberry! Thing is, we don't have something similar to it that's usable with kiddy. Maybe use an unused animation?

Had another boss idea: Karbon K Rool. His first phase is exactly the same as Kaptain K Rool's lost world equivalent, where he uses a blunderbuss in a battle for survival against the kongs. Defeating this phase destroys his blunderbuss, and he then does the high jump King K Rool does in the first game, but to head into the background. He will then reveal a helicopter pack similar to Baron K Roolenstein's, and then turns one of his arms(the one you destroyed that the blunderbuss was connected to)into a fireball cannon and starts to attack you just like in the first phase to DK3's lost world boss, minus the electricity. He does this three times. Note that instead of wooden barrels or steel kegs, you are using TNT barrels for this. With the helicopter pack gone, Karbon malfunctions and winds up destroying both his fireball cannon AND his originally undamaged arm. Now he's running and hopping around the room like a madman, behaving in a more chaotic variation of his final phase in the original DKC involving flinging "crowns" like discs, shooting flames out of his mouth, turning around to launch one of those cog things in the DKC1 caves from his back, laying dumb drums and even-you guessed it- an automatically attacking variation of his cannon stomp attack that never ends until the boss is defeated. When he does after taking far too many hits from TNT barrels, he starts to blow up-his legs, the last of his limbs, wind up imploding upon themselves, sending the decaying body of Karbon flying into the background where he continues to explode, the explosions being more violent than before. Eventually at the last one the animation for one of the MKF bosses being defeated is seen as something flies high into the air.
As tons of bannanas rain down as the music changes to the bonus round music, you will have 30 seconds to collect as many bananas as possible. When this ends, the giant banana that normally comes down from a boss appears and you can continue with the game.

...unless he's an optional super boss. Because he borrows from the lost world k. rools, he may be in the possible lost world for THIS game alongside Mr. X...

Sorry if Karbon K. Rool seems like overkill. You can make him as an optional super boss like in MKF with King Watinga's revenge.
Is Karni kong going to come back in the second world and Mr. x in the third, by the way?

Would be it be possible to give us an idea of another world or two? That could help with giving level designs. :D I understand if you can't.


Also, is it possible for a dark cave that has the same idea as 'Floodlit Fish' to make it into the game?
