[Gnawzooka]

Post any custom or edited game sprites you've made here. I suppose DK related ones would be preferable, but I don't see why you shouldn't post anything else you've made. Here's my (very simple) Gnawty/Bazuka edit that you've already seen. Obviously it didn't take a whole lot of skill to do, but it's a cool concept, yes?

Thanks. And I thought someone might be interested to see the frames, that's why I posted it. But is it just me or did the quality get stuffed up or something?
Also, these aren't DKC related ( ) but I also made these. Again, simple edits, like...uh......moving a hand ( ) and recolouring, but still cool I think. These are from Earthbound.

What the....?! I could have sworn that was a PNG or BMP! Yet now it says (and is a) JPG. None of my attachments have done this... anything you think caused this JPG-ification, Qyzbud?

Meh, maybe I wasn't paying attention... ...but it certainly wasn't really bad quality like it is now. It looked more as if it were a PNG before, now it's low quality. Maybe the JPG somehow got recompressed at a lower quality level?

Okay, I just created something awesome. I call it, "Super Donkey Kong Bros." Yes, the quality looks bad, but I had no choice but to save onto JPEG, as PNG is still too big. If you want to, you can make another level like this, like you can do World 1-2, or something.
Comments/ratings would be nice!

EDIT: Also done with "Super Nintendo RPG"!

No, it doesn't look fluid enough. You were right about it looking weird in a GIF.

Perhaps you could only use the sprites for normal Klobber, hue-shift him to the color of DKlobber (Game Maker is great for this kind of thing), and then overlay the DK symbol on his sprites. It would look better than that horrible mess.

Alright, here's V.2 of the DKlobber:

I added a few things and took Simion32's advice of switching the colours.
The reason I changed the colour of the Klobber in the barrel to blue is because I wanted it a different colour instead of red like the TNT Klobber.
Again, I don't know how it will look in a GIF.

That's definitely something that needs to be in the Level Builder!

There are endless ideas that we can think of! This is a good thread for that, and several others too!
Take the sprite comics for example, the "DKTNT Barrel" can be used for the level builder.
A Boss Dumb Drum for DKC2 and 3 could also work.
Even the morphing together of bosses is good!

Reason nobody really replys to your images is because those aren't Custom/Edited sprites, they're just ideas for games.

Nice Kong-fu! I don't really know a good name, but I think it should come after very gnawty, (the brown one).

More importantly, what makes him different from the other gnawty bosses besides color? Prehaps it should have more lives?

It took me only about 10-15 minutes or so, but I whipped up the boss fight of "Necky's last stand", it's the third Necky!

Yes, it doesn't look very good, but it is an edited sprite.

DKCPlayer made a character, (CDKCPlayer), and lots of the Spriters resource people have their own characters, so I decided to make one, I call him, "Marigi".

I made some better yellow Necky sprites, along with green, blue, aqua, and red.

The hue was a little off.

I fixed it now, and I added an aqua and a blue Necky. (see post) I also improved the Blue Gnawty sprites/gif by giving it a transparency.

Maybe the little blue Gnawty can go on a keg, trying to smash into the Kongs!

EDIT: Just found out that it wasn't a blue little Gnawty and was the giant Gnawty put in a little square because it was too big.

That's the second time people mistook those miniature attachment things for the full picture. Oh well, it sounds like a good idea anyway.

Here is some custom firework graphics that can be used in DKC2 in Kermland (Fair Grounds)... Well they can not be seen in "Internet Explorer" but the png's are animated.

It looks like the Gnawty's from DK64 to me.

Hey, you know those unused sprites that were found of DK pushing against a wall? I'm going to have a shot at trying to edit those sprites to make him walk while pushing (ie, so he can push objects around) but since I'm not too good at spriting I might not pull it off, so if anyone else wants to try, feel free.
