Unknown character found in DKC2 clouds.

Nothing official really, just some observation and inspiration. You know sometimes we look at clouds and we see shapes and objects, this is the vision I got while looking at some DKC2 clouds, I will try to do a full body version soon, what do you guys think?

Haha, it reminds me of Space Invaders! But I think I've seen something like that elsewhere...
I think this goes HERE though.

Spoiler!
by the way, has anyone noticed the sun sets in the second Ship Deck level?

I see the "character", but I highly doubt that's there intentionally. It's just a cloud.

And yes, this does need to be moved, so I'll do that now.

This is clearly supposed to be the tanooki suit from Mario 3- Image

I kid of course, but it sure does look similar. :P

Looking at the pics. It looks like that's the area where the two images were 'mirrored' and then 'stiched' together to tile the cloud sprites. Just look at the center of the clouds you can kinda see a seem. Patterns tend to emerge when you mirror two images together.

So it's safe to assume this is nothing but over analyzing? Personally I can't see a good reason to put an enemy in the clouds.

Donkey Kong Country 4: Kloud Khaos

I kid, of course, but what if this spawns some weird (and by weird, I mean creative) fan fiction of some sort?

I doubt the shape is supposed to be a Kritter from DK64. One thing that makes be doubt is that the game didn't come out until late 1999. If it was to do with DK64, that would suggest that Donkey Kong 64 started development about 1994 or 1995 before the N64 was even released, and therefore the Kritter model had already been designed, and that DK64 had taken 5 years to develop, but I'm sure it wasn't that long. Maybe 2 years or 3. I'd say development of DK64 started around 1997 at the earliest, maybe?

That's what I was thinking at first, but now it looks like a cross between Dry Bones and a kremling to me.
