I was just thinking how awesome it would be if I had a clone. I think I would be the happiest man alive. I mean, we would each understand each other's feelings and know exactly what we would/would not want to do and talk about. Things might get even freakier when the lights go... out. Ahem.

No, I'm not a big soccer/football fan (I never watch any national leagues), but of course I'm excited in international matches

But answer me this...If there were someway to travel to alternate universes, and I was to travel to an alternate universe in which there were no alternate universes, that would mean that my universe didn't exist. But, if my universe didn't exist, than I don't exist, so I never traveled to this alternate universe. But, if I never traveled there to make my universe not exist, than my universe would exist. But, if my universe does exist, than I do exist. And if I exist, than I did travel to this alternate universe. But, that means my universe doesn't exist, but that means I don't exist. And if I don't exist.........

Ah, but those are just movies, both of which take place when no one belevied the world was round or had even questioned what kept them from floating into space.

There is no way to measure how many licks it would take to get to the center of a tootsie pop, unless we came up with one universal unit for a lick. This unit would have to entail the surface area of the tongue, the velocity of each lick, and the position of each lick. Not to mention other variables, such as the room temperature and humidity, the flavor and size of the pop, the age of the pop, how long it had been opened.

Long story short, it's impossible because of all the variables in the experiment.

Tons. Different substances within the Pop can cause it to have less or more friction, weigh differently, be "juicier", etc.

That's right, there are a million other things that could be different.

Maybe the ingrdiants used in the flavoring could cause it to melt faster or slower, but flavoring is one ingrediant not a bunch of ingrediants combined, so whatever makes them different could cause it to change slightly, but there's probably not enough of a difference in the flavor's properties to cause it to slow or speed up (at least not enough to make a diffierence in licks).

It's creepy how we make a big discussion out of a quote from a commercial! Uh... idk my bff jill.
